PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

Clients' personal and session information is kept strictly confidential and stored securely in line with Australian privacy legislation. Information is only shared:

  • With client's written consent

  • In case of serious risk of harm to you or others (Mandatory Reporting)

  • When legally required (eg. a court subpoena)

DUTY OF CARE & SAFETY

To support Clients' welbeing, my legal and ethical duty is to:

  • Create a safe, non-judgmental space

  • Recognize the limits to my expertise

  • Refer you to other health professionals when needed (e.g., GP, psychologist) to support your overall care plan

INFORMED CONSENT

Clients must always be informed about the nature of their treatment-including the use of hypnosis - and asked to give written consent before proceeding with treatment. The client has a right to:

  • Ask questions at any time

  • Withdraw consent or stop therapy at any time

  • Remain in control throughout the process

WORKING WITHIN SCOPE OF PRACTICE

We work within the scope of my training and do not offer medical advice or diagnoses. Our role is to support therapeutic change, not replace medical or psychiatric care.
